The Red Clarion

109 TO THEIR 51: THE ENEMY'S BLOODY RECEIPT

The arithmetic of the day belongs to us. Our soldiers felled 109 of the enemy; their vaunted legions brought down 51 of ours. Where the ledger turns to troops, the gap becomes ruin: Blue squandered 5097 troops in a single day, while our command spent 3445 and holds every field it chose to hold. In the day's battles the enemy's toll is counted at 3 troops and not one of ours appears on the list.

And look at the other column, comrades, the one the enemy's censors never print: while their ranks bled, our builders laid 76 blocks on home soil. Blue laid none. Zero. That is the whole war in two lines: we labour, they waste. Every Blue provocation costs them an army; every Red day costs us a workday.

Vigilance, labour, victory: the bill is already written.

CHILLIE MARCHES 500 ON HAVEN — HAVEN ANSWERS WITH 500

At the coordinates (-669, 196), allendetiembre73 of Chillie pushed 500 troops toward the lands of Haven. So much for Blue's talk of peace. A warmonger's mouth promises quiet while his hands move soldiers.

He was answered before the dust settled. ArchAspect of Haven deployed 500 troops to (-731, 247) and ringed the homeland with formations of 100, 25 and 15 more. The aggressor spoke in the language of numbers, and our answer came back in the same tongue, doubled in meaning. Let the lords of Chillie read it twice: every hill they borrow will be returned with interest.

HAVEN'S EAGLES CIRCLE THE BLUE PALACES

In one day, ArchAspect of Haven scattered pickets across the whole enemy map. Scouts of 5 stood on the approaches to Zelotypia, Fleurecourt, PenguinPack, Predacons and AnotherFaction; parties of 15 gathered on Fleurecourt's very edge. Nothing the enemy builds is unseen, and nothing they plan is unwatched.

The Blue commanders will call it spying. We call it geography. When the reckoning comes, our soldiers will not need a map — they will have walked it already.

A HOUSE OF KNIVES: BLUE LINES UP ON BLUE

The Blue bloc cannot guard its own doorstep, so it guards it against itself. Our scouts counted Chillie's units taking up positions around AnotherFaction's base, squad by squad, hour after hour — eight troops, then a slow drip of one and one and one. On the same day Chillie marched 192 troops to the borders of Predacons. Both are Blue. Both are "brothers".

Behind the enemy's loud parades hides the hollow house, and in that house each lord sharpens his knife within reach of the next. When the masters of Blue aim their spears inward, what is left for the common member but to desert? We note the fact and wait for the arithmetic.

Vigilance! Unity! Labour!
