The Blue Bugle
RED MACHINE MUSTERS — BLUE ANSWERS WITH FIVE HUNDRED!
HAVEN POLISHES ITS WAR MACHINE — AND SENDS SPIES TO COUNT OUR BARN DOORS!
Not one shot was fired today, and still you could hear Haven's boots from here. Its man ArchAspect marched a force of 500 out of the Red capital, set columns of 100 behind it, and planted posts of 25 troops apiece in a ring around his own hills — close enough together to pass a cup of coffee from one to the next.
Machines need oil, and Haven's spies brought their own. Parties as thin as 5 men each turned up within sight of Blue land, at Fleurecourt, at AnotherFaction, at Predacons, at PenguinPack, at Zelotypia, at Chillie. Parties of 15 padded along the Fleurecourt borders besides. Counting our barns, no doubt. Pricing our fences.
This is what a provocation looks like while it is still wearing slippers. Let them count. The farmer, the miner and the builder have done their own arithmetic, and it comes out Blue.
FIVE HUNDRED BLUE BOOTS ON HAVEN'S DOORSTEP!
Chillie answered the drum the same day it was beaten. Allendetiembre73 marched 500 troops of our colour to the edge of Haven's own ground, sent 192 more to stand near Predacons, and 80 to hold the road home.
Mind the arithmetic. Chillie is a nation of 6 souls; Haven counts 2467 behind its walls. When a handful of ours can answer the muster of that whole red heap before sundown, the word for it is not bravery. It is habit.
The Blue does not start quarrels. It finishes them.
THE LEDGER: RED PAYS, BLUE COLLECTS
Our hands sent 51 of the enemy's players home in the last day of scattered fighting, from one end of the map to the other. The Red machine burned through 3445 troops of its own in the same hours and then, the record shows, laid 76 blocks on its own soil. Walled in behind its own bricks. The bully has found his glass jaw.
We paid too, and we say so plainly: 257 of ours gave everything in the day's fighting, and not one is forgotten. The formal battles took 3 of our troops and not one of our players. There is a difference between a bloc that mourns its men and a machine that replaces them.
Sign up, pitch in, stand tall. The free bloc doesn't wait for orders to do the right thing.
Stand up, pitch in, hold the line!
