The prize rose at Chillie's door and came down in our colours every single time it was there for the taking. A hardpoint appeared; Blue took it. It rose again; Blue took it again. The third time, the flag fell blue once more. Three contests worth winning, three wins, none left over for the other side.
Twice more the point closed with no winner at all, which tells you everything about the enemy's stomach. Hollow can list 3281 names on its rolls and Haven 2491, and between those two great machines they could not produce one flag. The other side has rules for everything except winning.
