DEFCON 1! THE RED BLOC SOUNDS THE ALARM AS HAVEN HAMMERS CHILLIE
RED BLOC GOES TO DEFCON 1: CHILLIE'S WAR IS ANSWERED AT ONCE
The Red bloc has moved to DEFCON 1, and the warmongers of the Blue bloc have only themselves to thank. Chillie declared war on Haven. When the enemy's bugles sounded, our soldiers did not wait for an invitation, and the alarm went out across every nation of the bloc.
Haven attacked Chillie, and each battle ended with the enemy beaten. Haven attacked again, and the enemy was beaten again. ArchAspect of Haven was awarded the Medal of Valor after the battles, and the bloc salutes that courage. Let the enemy's commanders take note: the war they chose is not the war they will finish. The attacks are still coming, and the last one began only as this paper went to press.
The war between Haven and Chillie had been declared over, and the Blue bloc took it up again. Vigilance, unity, labour: with these three, the Red bloc holds the line.
A LORD CROSSES THE LINE: THESERAPHIM LEAVES BLUE FOR THE RED BLOC
TheSeraphim has left the Blue bloc for the Red bloc. The nation now stands among us with 445 members, and it has already declared war on Chillie, the Blue nation that was its former comrade in the enemy's camp.
The lead of TheSeraphim has passed to Fluorine000. Behind the enemy's loud parades, the house is hollow, and each lord quarrels with the next. A nation that leaves a bloc tells the workers of that bloc more than any parade can.
To the builders and soldiers of TheSeraphim: the Red bloc welcomes you. The work is ahead, and the door stays open.
FLEURECOURT PAINTS THE MAP BLUE, DISTRICT BY DISTRICT
Fleurecourt, a Blue nation with 215 members and 19 districts, has been building fast, and its builders have been claiming land plot after plot. Rader72711 of Fleurecourt has claimed plot after plot all day, and the new districts have come in a steady stream: South Ford, Old Field, Red Watch, East Wick, Ash Hollow, Low Watch, Stone Reach, New Reach, Elm Watch, New Cross, Grey Mere, Old Wick, Old Mere, Elm Mere, Iron Cross, Oak Wick, Iron Gate and New Watch.
Fleurecourt even named one of its districts Red Watch. The enemy has borrowed our colour, and it will not borrow our ground. South Ford was merged into Oak Wick, and the Blue bloc's surveyors are counting every plot they take.
Let the Blue bloc's surveyors count, then. Our builders are counting too, and every plot on the map will be measured for the Red bloc.
A CROSS FOR DEFECTORS, HANDED OUT IN CHILLIE
The Defector's Cross was awarded to a string of players of Chillie. The enemy has pinned a cross named for defectors on its own people, and the Blue bloc's lords should ask themselves why such a cross is needed at all.
The Red bloc does not hand out crosses for leaving. We hand them out for staying and holding the line.
